Female members ofthe BJP under the supervision of local MLA Th Radheshyam provided fresh vegetables and food items to the inmates of Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC)-Heirok on Wednesday.
Speaking during the event which witnessed the participation of more than 400 women members from polling number 33/28- Heirok part-II, Th Radheshyam said, “There is no greater religion than loving one another.”
He also expressed his admiration for the women who had collected fresh vegetables and other edible items in order to help the COVID patients. “Nobody wants to suffer, and there is no other thing more wonderful than acts of love and kindness in helping others who are in trouble,” the MLA added. He further made a public appeal for unity and support in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.
