A total of 21,743 eligible beneficiaries have been administered Covid vaccination in Ukhrul district of Manipur as of Sunday, of which 17, 295 people have taken the first dose while 4,448 have taken both doses.
According to district surveillance officer Ukhrul, 12 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Ukhrul district on Sunday, taking the total active case to 75, while eight patients were discharged.
The district cumulative positive stands at 859, including 512 males and 347 females.
Of the 75 total active cases, 22 patients are at district hospital isolation ward; 40 patients are at transit Covid care centre, seven are at Phalee community isolation centre, and six are at Ukhrul higher secondary school CHIC. The cumulative death toll remained at 22.
On the other hand, Kamjong district reported five COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24-hours.
