YWC Langthabal beat PSC Khoyathong by 28 runs (DL Method) in the 3rd MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy 2021 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Imphal East.

Batting first, YWC Langthabal batsman put up 186 runs for 6 wickets from 20 overs with Kishan Singh hitting an unbeaten 70 runs while Maheskumar got 33 runs and Bikramjit contributed 27 runs to the team's majestic total. PSC bowler Prasanjit and Kenny fetched 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target, PSC were in 58 runs for 2 wickets from 8 overs when weather interrupted the proceedings, Vivekananda was batting with 21 runs while Kenny on 6 runs, prompting the match to be decided by DL Method. YWC bowler Prakashmani claimed 2 wickets and batsman Kishan Singh was declared the Man of the Match.

The Duckworth-Lewis Method (DL Method) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score for team batting second when the match proceedings were interrupted by weather or other circumstances.

In the other match, RCT Malom posted 88 runs victory against YUCC Kwakeithel. RCT batsman piled up 177 runs for 3 wickets from 20 overs with Jaysing contributing 60 runs and Ishworjit made 53 runs. YUCC bowler Sanjit, Rahulkumar, Bikash got 1 wicket each.

In reply, YUCC were cheaply dismissed for 89 runs for 10 wickets from 17.4 overs. Dibak topscored with 32 runs. RCT bowler Sarojkumar claimed 3 wickets while Ananda bagged 2 wickets. Batsman Jaysingh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 60 runs.

At Model Higher Secondary and Oriental College ground, CRAU Khamnam Bazar pulled off 7 wickets win over MPSC, Manipur Central Jail.

MPSC started their innings with opener Sunil hammering 45 runs off 39 balls while tailender Kingson contributed 22 runs to put up 117 runs for 9 wickets from 20 overs. CRAU bowler Kala picked up 3 wickets while Ajay got 2 wickets.

CRAU Khamnam Bazar reached the target easily in 18.3 overs at the expense of 3 wickets. Rakesh remained not out with 49 runs from 32 balls while Mehtab too was at the crease with 3 runs.
