Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for COVID-19, the country's Health Minister, Faisal Sultan said on Saturday.
The health minister said in a tweet that the Prime Minister has isolated himself at home.
"PM Imran Khan has tested positive for Covid-19 and is self isolating at home," Sultan tweeted.
PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan also said that the Prime Minister is experiencing mild symptoms. However he will work from home virtually, the PTI Senator added.
"Prime Minister Imran Khan tests positive for coronavirus, is experiencing 'mild symptoms'. He will self-quarantine at home however will continue to work from home over video con. Lots of prayers Folded hands for everyone. Stay Safe," Faisal Javed Khan tweeted.
The Pakistani Prime Minister tested positive for coronavirus two days after he was administered China's Sinovac vaccine. He received the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
