No new COVID-19 case, active cases drop to three in Arunachal Pradesh

The total COVID-19 caseload stood at 16,840 cases in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

No new COVID-19 case has been reported from Arunachal Pradesh in Northeast India for the past four days with the total caseload of 16, 840, according to the state health department.

Of the total caseload, 16, 781 people have recovered from the illness. With it, only three active cases remained, two in Tirap and one in Chanlang, according to the state health services, while 56 people have died due to COVID-related illness so far.

In all, 4,10,101 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the state, the health department stated.

Meanwhile, 52,388 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19, state Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung said.
