In continuation of financial assistance given to the ailing district Village Defence Force (VDF) members of Thoubal, Thoubal District VDF welfare Association under the supervision of S Ibomcha Singh, provided monetary help on Wednesday to two VDF members, Thoubal District VDF Welfare Association stated on Saturday.

VDF No 274(H) N Kunjamani Singh, now posted at VDF Heirok F-Coy and VDF No 027(H) L Somorjit Singh, now posted at VDF Heirok C-Coy, received Rs 25,000 each from the District VDF welfare funds at the office chamber of the Superintendent of Police Thoubal, a release stated.
