The Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur (PWF) has invited applications for Arambam Ibungohal and Binodkumari Literary Award-2020, to acknowledge the works of young Manipuri poets.
Willing writers who are below 35 years can submit their poems which were published between February 26, 2018, and January 31, 2020. They can submit three copies of their poetry book at Keishamthong Hodam Leirak Machin’s office of PWF, the PWF said in a release.
During the submission, the applicants are asked to include a copy of the writer’s Aadhaar card, passport photograph, biodata and contact number. For writers staying outside the state, the application can be filed through courier or post by addressing to the president or secretary of PWF, the release stated.
The award will be presented on February 25 in connection with the memorial observance of late Arambam Ibungohal and late Binodkumari. The last date of the submission is January 30. The award will carry a cash prize of Rs 5,000, shawl and a memento.
