CM Biren urged to complete reconstruction of remaining 80 houses in Chassad village

As many as 140 houses were burned by unknown miscreants during inter-village land dispute in March, 2020.

While extending gratitude towards Chief Minister N Biren for his visit and inaugurating the newly constructed 60 houses in Chassad village, president of Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM), Khaimang Chongloi urged the chief minister to complete the construction of the remaining 80 houses at the earliest.

Speaking to the media during a press conference held at its office located at Babupara, Imphal on Saturday, Khaimang said that KIM has been serving for the society under certain three principles namely peaceful co-existence, non-communal and justice for all. Under these principles, KIM has been pressing the state government to reconstruct the 140 houses that were burned down during the tragic incident of March last year, he added.
