Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Mizoram on January 9, 10

Recently, the home minister visited Manipur and Assam to launch several development projects.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Mizoram on January 9 and 10, according to sources.

Recently, the home minister visited Manipur and Assam to launch several development projects in the two Northeastern states. Shah had visited Assam on December 26 and Manipur on December 27.

During his visit to Imphal as part of his two-day visit to the Northeast, Shah inaugurated two developmental projects, laid the foundation stones for seven major projects and launched statewide e-office at Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal East in the presence of DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra Singh and Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

In Assam, the home minister launched several development projects worth Rs 1,176 crore, including the foundation stones of Batadrava Than, second Medical College in Guwahati and extended financial grants to 8,000 Namghars or Vaishnavite monasteries.
