Nagaland reports no new COVID-19 positive cases for second day

Nagaland reported first no new Covid positive case on December 27, 2020.

Nagaland reported no new COVID-19 case on Saturday for the second day and the statewide tally remained unchanged at 11,929, including 186 active cases.

Since the outbreak of the disease in the state, Nagaland reported no new COVID-19 case for the first time on December 27, 2020, Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

Five more people recovered on Saturday. With it, the total recovery count has moved to 11,533 and the recovery rate to 96.68 per cent, 

Meanwhile, 79 patients have succumbed to the infection and 131 have migrated to other states so far.

According to the state health department, Nagaland has so far conducted 1.20 lakh COVID-19 tests, including 72,526 RT-PCR, 36,733 TrueNat and 11,237 rapid antigen tests.D

Dimapur and Kohima has the highest number of active cases at 73 and 63 respectively.
