COVID-19 caseload in Mizoram mounts to 3,888

On Thursday, Mizoram recorded seven new COVID-19 positive cases.

COVID-19 caseload in Mizoram has increased to 3,888, of which 2,868 are males and 1020 are females, official sources said.

On Thursday, Mizoram recorded seven new COVID-19 positive cases. With the new positive cases, the number of active cases in the state mounted to 235, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Mizoram posted on Twitter.

While the total number of recovered cases stood at 3,647, death toll stood at six. All COVID-19 fatalities are reported from Aizawl.

Among the active COVID-19 cases in the state, Aizawl has the maximum cases with 113, followed by Lawngtlai with 69 and Serchhip with 25.

No new COVID-19 case have been reported in Hnahthial district after the recovery of 15 cases, the state heath department stated.
