The ‘Christmas State Level Special Handloom Expo’ will be organised by the Directorate of Handloom and Textiles, Government of Manipur from January 1 to 15, 2021 at Urban Haat, Nilakuthi, Imphal East, stated a notification issued by the Directorate of Handloom and Textiles on Thursday.
Applications in plain paper are invited from weavers, awardees, societies and association for participation in the expo, it stated. The last date for submission of application is December 15, it added.
It stated that only 30 stalls will be allotted on a first come first served basis due to COVID-19 pandemic. The expo is being organised in pursuance of the government of India sanction letter No. 1/12/2020-DCH/P&E/NERTPS/Manipur dated October 27, it added.
