Teaching, non-teaching staff of government colleges must attend duties: Home Department

Failure to attend the duties may compel the government to take up necessary action against those who do not adhere to the order, the Home Department stated.

Home Department, Government of Manipur issued an order to be followed pertaining to the fresh guidelines for ‘Unlock’ in the entire state.

The order issued on Friday stated that all teaching and non-teaching staff of government colleges under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Manipur are instructed to attend their duties in their respective colleges while following proper ‘COVID-19 appropriate behaviour’ as issued by the Central and state governments from time to time.

It further stated that the principals and principals in-charge of all the government colleges under the Department of Higher and Technical Education are instructed to ensure strict compliance of the order issued. Failure to attend the duties may compel the government to take up necessary action against those who do not adhere to the order, it added.
