AMYPCO appeals against price hike during Ningol Chakkouba

All Manipur Youth Protection Committee (AMYPCO) has appealed to the shopkeepers not to hike the prices of goods taking advantage of Ningol Chakouba shopping rush

People across the state is suffering economically due to COVID-19 pandemic as many are rendered jobless, AMYPCO president Shyam Khuman said in a release.

Asserting that in this present situation, the joyous family celebration will be dampened by financial issues among many families, the committee appeals to all the Ningol to stop the trend of demanding gifts from their maternal families.

The committee asked the people to follow the SOP while celebrating the festival and during shopping in order to prevent from contacting COVID-19.

The release extended its greetings to the women of the state on the joyous occasion of Ningol Chakouba which falls on November 16 this year.
