A one-day awareness and exchange programme on Preservation and Conservation of Environment and Climate Change was on Sunday held at Shilheipung, Imphal East district, jointly organised by Shilheipung and Intelligent Knowledge and Skill Centre (IKOSC).

Shilheipung director, Ashok Konjengbam said that initially Shilheipung was an infertile place but after initiating special conservation and plantation, it turned into a place of greenery. It is very important to give awareness on conservation of environment and climate change to the youths so as to make them involved in protecting the environment.
