Winter seeds for the year 2020 were distributed on Sunday at around 11 am at Cashewnut Development Office, Bidyanagar, Jiribam district.

The seed distribution was jointly carried out by DC of Jiribam, W Malemnganba Chenglei, SP of Jiribam, M Mubi Singh, Cashewnut Development officer, L Lukhon Singh and inspector, K Dhiren Singh.

K Dhiren said that the winter seeds were distributed to around 130 farmers of Jiribam, which included seeds of peas, tomato, French bean, onion and watermelon. The winter seeds distribution will be carried out in other places of Jiribam in the coming days, he added.
