Manipur college student unions of DM College of Science, Arts and Commerce and GP Women’s College have sought clarification from the DM University authority within October 27 regarding irregularities in the admission selection list for the academic session 2020-2021.

A joint press statement issued by the four student unions claimed that many students who secured high marks in the entrance examination were not included in the selection list.

It further said that many students who had chosen their subject and submitted to the varsity were marked as ‘not applied’ due to software defects and were not included in the selection list. Moreover, a proper clarification has also not been given for the OBC category, it added.
