COVID-19 in Manipur: Two more test positive, total cases 36

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Manipur increased to 36 on Monday as two more cases, one each from Kangpokpi and Senapati districts tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Manipur increased to 36 on Monday as two more cases, one each from Kangpokpi and Senapati districts tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Manipur now has 32 active cases, the state health department said.

The patient from Senapati district was confirmed positive at VRDL, JNIMS, He would be shifted to Covid care facility at JNIMs, the health department said. 

Earlier in the day, two COVID-19 cases were also reported- one each from Churachandpur and Noney districts.

On Sunday, confirmed Coronavirus in the state was 32 as three new COVID-19 cases were detected and active cases was 28, according to the state health department. One each new COVID-19 confirmed case was reported from Thoubal, Jiribam and Churachandpur districts. The one from Churachandpur returned from Chennai recently, the health department stated.

So far, four patients have recovered and discharged from hospital.
