Meghalaya: Over 300 KG of ganja recovered along NH-6

Over 37 packets of concealed ganja weighing over 335.700 kilograms were left unattended along the National Highway 6 at 17 Mile village in Ri Bhoi district.

The Byrnihat Police Outpost in Meghalaya on Thursday recovered over 37 packets of concealed ganja weighing over 335.700 kilograms.

Reportedly, the packets were left unattended along the National Highway 6 at 17 Mile village in Ri Bhoi district. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the items containing ganja.

Meanwhile, the recovered items have been taken for further investigation, according to police.
