The NSCN (IM) is the premier militant outfit of north-east. After that numerous militant groups have come up in the north east region. The pattern of protest by blocking roads is also started by Naga rebels.

Nowadays every second day we hear about a road blockade by students groups in neighbouring states also. The militants started with state level bandhs and student organisations are following the style of road blockade protest. This is a inhuman practice.

Many old passengers died in the recent NH 37 and NH 53 blockade by Naga student bodies due to lack of food, medicines and home. If they are really students, they should study and not kill people by blocking roads. The Naga way of blocking national highways should not be followed by ABSU, AASU, AKRASU etc etc. This is no exemplery manner of protest. It reflects sadism and inhuman approach to humanity at large.
