Speaking to media persons at the side line of the launching function, Managing Director of Medilane, Moirangthem Dayananda Meeitei alias Pibaral said through the dedicated helpline number one can enquire about doctor’s schedule information, doctor’s appointment, hospitals information, diagnostics information, healthcare service providers information, ambulance, home lab, sample collection, doorstep medicine delivery, home care for patients and any other information related to healthcare.
And its customer care service provider will enable people on their much needed information, he added.
Sharing his idea behind introducing the helpline service number, Pibarel said being a medical student people, friends and relatives approach them (medical students) regarding doctor’s schedule information or appointment or other information presuming they must be aware of all hospital and medical related information.
With that idea behind making healthcare easily accessible, thus the Medilane, healthcare consultancy services was established with aim to make healthcare affordable through its ‘health care benefit card’ (HCBC) which was launched six months back, he claimed.
Pibaral is currently perusing MBBS last year at JNIMS.
He further claimed that so far more than 50,000 subscribers have registered for the beneficiary card out of which around 2,500 people have benefited.
