NSU Bangalore holds first consultative meet

The Naga Students’ Union, Bangalore (NSUB), convened its first consultative meeting on Saturday with participation from various tribal student unions, community leaders, and church representatives.

The meeting addressed crucial issues such as the mental health needs of the Naga community in Bangalore, providing support and advice on legal matters related to work contracts and fostering cultural exchange with non-Naga communities, stated a release on Sunday.

The imperative to extend reach to the Nagas residing in the city and stronger collaborations with churches and sub-units has never been more pressing amid the myriad of challenges faced by student unions in metropolitan hubs like Bangalore, it asserted.

NSUB is committed to launching various initiatives under the banner of 'Embrace Digital' and prioritizing the welfare of the Naga community in Bangalore by addressing their diverse needs, the release mentioned.
