The Imphal Pangei Road Joint Development Committee on Sunday announced that they have resolved to temporarily relax their decision to block the Imphal Pangei road from Monday. The decision comes after authorities concerned assured the committee of repairing the route at the earliest.

Earlier on Tuesday, the committee had announced its decision to block the Imphal-Pangei Road indefinitely from Monday onwards. The committee had been raising its demand to repair the roadway by submitting a memorandum, holding press conferences and conducting protests etc.
