Bus service to ease Tml commuters

To reduce the hurdles faced by the public while commuting between the district hospital and the main town area, the district administration of Tamenglong, health administration, along with 5 MR have launched bus service between the old medical gate and the new hospital complex from today.

 In the presence of chief medical officer Tamenglong, Dr Chambo Gonmei, as well as the doctors, and patients of the district hospital, deputy commissioner of Tamenglong, IAS, Armstrong Pame launched the bus service. According to DC Tamenglong, IAS, Armstrong Pame, there will be a bus shift every 30 minutes, and the bus fare has been fixed at Rs.10. He further added that in view of the upcoming Orange festival, for the time being, the fare for the said bus service will be free.  It is worth mentioning that the present auto rickshaw fare for the same route is Rs.20 per head.
