Bharat Ratna Dr. Radhakrishnan gold medal for Ngalengnam

Head of department and associate professor of department of Political Science and Human Rights, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Regional Campus Manipur (IGNTU-RCM), Ng. Ngalengnam also known as Anam Zimik was recently awarded the Bharat Ratna Dr. Radhakrishnan Gold Medal at the national capital.

Ng. Ngalengnam was conferred with the prestigious award for ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in Education’, by Global Economic Progress and Research Association, New Delhi. The award consists of a memento, a citation, a gold medal and an identity card.

Meanwhile, president of the student’s union of IGNTU-RCM, Haokhomang Chongloi and its general secretary, E. Wanglar lauded the associate professor on his achievement stating that it is one of the biggest achievements for the university and the student community are fortunate to have such an educator.

The student body has also wished Ngalengnam, a prosperous future and a healthy long life so as to work more for the society in educational development of the state and nation.
