Rs. 10.9 lakhs donated to CM relief fund

Several organisations donated to the chief minister’s relief fund to help flood victims.

Today several organisations contributed a total of Rs. 10.9 lakhs to the fund. Babina Group of Companies led by their managing director Dr. Th. Dhabali contributed Rs. 5 lakhs, Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Ltd. led by Th. Hemo Singh donated Rs. 2.10 lakhs, Manipur Tourism Forum donated Rs. 1 lakhs, Chamber of Commerce donated Rs. 1 lakh, JBB Constructions donated Rs. 1 lakh, education(S) departmentally verified adhoc/unitil further order employees association donated Rs. 50,000 and Manipur Relief Association donated Rs. 30,000 to the fund.

It may be mentioned that several organisations and schools such as Mega Manipur School, Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK), Manipur Home Guards Employees’ Welfare Association and All Manipur Government Aided College Teachers’ Association (AMGACTA) etc. had already donated to the relief fund to help those people who are severely affected by the recent floods in the state.

The chief minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations which had contributed generously.
