Natheljang ops condemned

Thadou Inpi-GHQ, Hmar Inpui and Zomi Council have jointly condemned the alleged random military operation at KNF designed camp Natheljang by security forces on June 15.
The joint press statement of the Thadou Inpi, Hmar Inpui and Zomi Council said that we are deeply shock and surprised to learn about the sudden and random military operation conducted by 38 Assam Rifles and state police in the designed camp of UPF/KNF, Natheljang in Kangpokpi district.
“It is a matter of insulted to the Kuki community and an invitation of misunderstanding among the Kuki community and the security forces”, it added and said that the random military operation as conducted in the guise of head counting of SoO cadres while a tripartite political dialogue between UPF-KNO and the government of Manipur and government of India is going on.
The three Inpis strongly condemned the alleged insulting act of the security forces and appealed to all authorities concerned to abide and respect the SoO ground rules so as to maintained peace.
Meanwhile, the three Inpis also appealed to all underground groups to stop fratricidal killing stating it will not serve any purpose and it will not be a solution to our problems.
